A Second Life for PU Waste: BASF Backs New Recycling Facility

BASF India, Green Worms and the Indian Polyurethane Association have inaugurated a polyurethane waste recycling facility in Manjeri, Kerala, according to BASF’s 14 October announcement. The CSR-funded project introduces mechanical recycling to support the recovery and reuse of PU waste. The initiative marks a practical step towards keeping polyurethane materials in circulation and strengthening local recycling infrastructure.
