Chip Demand Fuels Fujifilm’s $18 Million Chemical Expansion

Fujifilm announced an $18 million investment on 14 October to expand semiconductor chemical production in Mesa, Arizona. The project will increase capacity for CMP slurries—specialist materials used to smooth and polish surfaces during chip manufacturing. New manufacturing capabilities will also support advanced packaging applications. The expansion targets growing demand across advanced logic and memory technologies.
